Ceramic Trinket Dish

Stoneware clay moulded into 100% vitrified & stable ceramic, glazed in recycled wood ash glaze. The molecules in the mixture are positively & negatively charged, when the flux pulls them together as it drips down the pottery in their kiln firing, it creates a nucleus and from that nucleus grows life. A crystal. 

The aesthetic flaw on this piece is its rough texture. The wood ash glaze creates these delicate and interwoven layers of colour and texture and although this piece is no longer food safe, it would work perfectly as a trinket dish.
