Ceramic Crystalline Vase

Stoneware clay moulded into 100% vitrified & stable ceramic, glazed in recycled wood ash glaze. The molecules in the mixture are positively & negatively charged, when the flux pulls them together as it drips down the pottery in their kiln firing, it creates a nucleus and from that nucleus grows life. A crystal. 

Holds approx. 800ml of water each

The flaw on this creation is the running of the crystalline glaze which forced the piece to become stuck to the kiln shelf. No sharp edges as the piece was carefully sanded down. Fully functional and difficult to see flaws once in use.
